Act 4: Truth, Tracks 13 - 16

Act 4: Truth (of Edulution) addresses the incongruousness between contemporary social media (i.e. propaganda and their seemingly scripted rhetoric) with historical accuracy and the divulgement of forgotten events.  

14. RFK
Mind Control challenges current assertions about American history and the media's 'attack' on information; whether by omission or manipulation. 
RFK is a clip of Robert Kenndy announcing the assignation of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. 
God's Flow is a hyper-egotistical "16" (really a 20 bar verse) that uses the same syllables to rhyme over and over. 
Edulution is the next precipice in thinking, an epistemic shift so great that we recognize our own humanity and re-frame the interpersonal dialog and public discordance in order to understand that the world we live in is starkly different from the one that is presented in traditional education, historical documentation, and social media.

Love and Respect [Track 22]

This song represents a theme that is present in Lyceum Recordz and that is Love & Respect for women. In this song, I am talking about the ideal girl for me. "She get me high, when i come by." Here, I am talking about how she makes me feel. I'm NOT saying that the girl for me literally gets me high all the time. Instead, I should feel high when I'm around her because her smile makes me wild. Naturally, that makes me want to be closer to her emotionally and sexually (and "make her body cry"). The first verse is about me meeting a girl I'm crazy about and deciding it would be okay if I "fell into her" and became closer. The second verse is me realizing I am in love with this girl because of the way she makes me feel (i.e. "butterflys in my stomach" and a "feel'n of heaven"). Edulution: 20 Hey! by Lyceum Recordz Hey! is a poem that is about finding a compatible mate; rather than strictly just someone who is physically attractive. A bazaar is an old and universal term meaning store or market. I am trying to paint a picture of an older black woman named Charese who comes over to me from across the bar to try and 'pick me up' for the night. She is smart and open minded! She shocks me by being selfless, buying a couple drinks just to have a good time, and dedicating them to cleaning up the gulf--which, when I wrote this, was being filled with Oil by the BP spill. However, it is impossible to ignore that she is looking at me with wanting eyes.
